Book Review: On Writing by Stephen King
On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by
Stephen King
My rating:
4 of 5 stars
A fun, if at times profane, look at how Stephen King became who he is and how he writes. I especially enjoyed his autobiographical section at the beginning and the section about when he got hit by a car at the end. In between, he gives some solid advice about how to write. He writes in a down to earth fashion, which made the book a joy to read.

Let the saints be joyful in glory, let them sing aloud on their beds, let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind the kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron. Psalm 149:5-8
